Bitcoin Address Formats
Bitcoin addresses come in several formats, each starting with different characters:
1: Legacy addresses (P2PKH).
3: SegWit addresses (P2SH), commonly used.
bc1q: Native SegWit addresses (P2WPKH), also widely used.
bc1p: Taproot addresses (P2TR).
By default, Ledger Live will add a Native SegWit address (bc1q) when you add a new Bitcoin account.
