You can export your operation/transaction history in the Ledger Live desktop app as a CSV file. Please note that this feature is not designed for precise tax reporting. For tax purposes, it is recommended to use ZenLedger, available in the ‘Discover’ section of Ledger Live.
Steps to Export Operation History
Download and Install the Latest Version of Ledger Live.
Open Ledger Live and click on the ‘Settings’ gear icon.
Navigate to ‘Help’ within the settings and select ‘Clear’ to clear the cache. This ensures your account data syncs with the blockchain.
After clearing the cache, return to ‘Settings’, choose ‘Accounts’ > ‘Operation History’, and click on ‘Save’.
Select the accounts for which you want to export the transaction history, then click ‘Save’ again.
Choose a Save Location: Your computer’s operating system will prompt you to choose a save location for the .csv file. Select your desired folder and click ‘Save.’
That’s it – you’re all set!
Transaction History Incomplete?
If you notice that some transactions are missing from the .csv file, you can use block explorers to locate them:
Ethereum Transactions: Use Etherscan.io
Polygon (MATIC) Transactions: Use Polygonscan.com
Cosmos Chain Transactions: Use Minscan.io for ATOM, OSMO, INJ, etc.
These explorers offer robust tools for exporting transaction histories and might help you retrieve any missing transactions.
