If you’ve sent ETH/ERC20 deposits to your Ledger wallet address and they seem to be missing from your ETH account, don’t worry. Here’s how you can locate and access your ETH/ERC20 tokens, which might have been sent via the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) network instead of the Ethereum network.

Locating ETH/ERC20 Tokens in Ledger Live
Ledger Live now supports the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) network, allowing you to access your ETH funds sent through BNB. Follow these steps to locate your tokens:

Option 1: Create a Binance Smart Chain (BNB) Account in Ledger Live (Recommended)
Install Binance Smart Chain (BNB) App:

Open Ledger Live and navigate to the Manager tab.
Search for the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) app in the app catalog.
Click Install to add the app to your Ledger device.
Add Binance Smart Chain Account:

Go to the Accounts tab in Ledger Live.
Click + Add account.
Select Binance Smart Chain (BNB) and click Continue.
Connect and unlock your Ledger device.
Open the Binance Smart Chain (BNB) app on your Ledger device.
Ledger Live will scan and add your BNB account.
This should reveal your ETH/ERC20 tokens if they were sent via the BNB network.

Option 2: Use Zerion in the Discover Section
Open Zerion:

Go to the Discover tab in Ledger Live.
Select Zerion from the list of apps.
Connect to Zerion:

Follow the prompts to connect your Ledger device and access your Binance Smart Chain account.
Zerion will show your ETH/ERC20 tokens on the BNB network.
Option 3: Use MetaMask with Your Ledger Device
Install MetaMask:

Download and install the MetaMask extension for your browser.
Set Up MetaMask:

Open MetaMask and select Import Wallet.
Connect your Ledger device by selecting Connect Hardware Wallet.
Add Binance Smart Chain Network:

In MetaMask, go to Settings > Networks.
Add the Binance Smart Chain network with the following details:
Network Name: Binance Smart Chain
New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
Chain ID: 56
Currency Symbol: BNB
Block Explorer URL: https://bscscan.com/
Access Your Account:

Once added, select the Binance Smart Chain network in MetaMask.
Your ETH/ERC20 tokens should appear if they were sent via BNB.
Converting Your ETH from the BNB Network to the ETH Network
Using the CIC App (Availability Varies by Country):

Check if the CIC (Cross-Chain) app is available for converting BNB to ETH.
Using an Exchange (Binance or Coinbase):

Transfer your tokens from the Binance Smart Chain to an exchange that supports BNB and ETH conversions.
Swap BNB/ERC20 tokens for ETH on the exchange.
Note: Ensure that the network chosen on the exchange matches your account’s network to avoid misplacement of funds.
