The error message “Unable to locate this Transaction Hash” or “Sorry, We are unable to locate this TxnHash” typically indicates that a transaction is stuck locally and wasn’t properly submitted to the blockchain by Ledger Live.
Understanding the Error
Blockchain Explorers: This error can typically be verified on block explorers for the network used:
Ethereum: Etherscan.io
Binance Smart Chain: BscScan
Polygon: Polygonscan
Near: Nearblocks.io
For networks like Bitcoin (BTC), XRP, and Cardano (ADA), blockchain explorers might display a different error message for transactions that haven’t been correctly broadcasted.
What to Do If Your Transaction Fails
Check Transaction Status:
Since the transaction didn’t reach the blockchain, your funds remain secure in your account. The failed transaction will stay unconfirmed or pending for a while but should eventually disappear from your Ledger Live transaction/operation history, and your balance will revert to its pre-transaction amount.
Clear Cache:
If the sent amount still isn’t reflected in Ledger Live, clear the cache:
Go to Settings > Help > Clear cache and choose ‘Clear’.
Retry the Transaction:
For Ethereum (ETH), Binance Smart Chain (BNB), or Polygon (MATIC):
Use the Zerion app available in the Discover section of Ledger Live.
For Near (NEAR):
Connect your Ledger device to Sender Wallet and retry your transaction.
For Other Blockchains or Ongoing Issues:
Use a Ledger-compatible third-party wallet connected to your Ledger device to retry the transaction.
If you continue to experience issues or have any questions, please contact Ledger customer support for further assistance.
